/ About the project
Fox Collective, a New York-based event production company, approached me just two weeks before their highly anticipated Barbie X Oppenheimer rave. They tasked me with curating a 5,000 square-foot warehouse space for the event. Over the course of those two weeks, I designed several standout set pieces, including a life-sized Barbenheimer Box photo-op and a 4-foot Atomic Disco Bomb, featuring over 48,000 rose gold mirror pieces.
I also developed a ticketing webpage to facilitate sales and designed a series of promotional assets, including posters and stickers embedded with QR codes that linked directly to the ticketing site. These assets were distributed across New York City as part of a guerrilla-style marketing campaign.
The event was a huge success, selling over 800 tickets, garnering more than 15,000 webpage views, and accumulating 280,000 views across social platforms. The rave even gained media attention, with coverage in outlets like Mashable and The New York Post.
